Some people run marathons. Others just dress like they do.

Nutrition assessment

Concept

A dietary assessment consists in evaluating the way a person eats. It takes into account not only the content of a meal, but also the external factors that impact our diet (where we eat, eating habits, stress levels, etc.).

Process

An initial meeting is scheduled to collect the information needed to draw up the assessment. Following this session, the client records his food intake for 3 to 7 days, carries out 2 online tests and sends all this information to the consultant.

The analysis is carried out within 5 to 7 working days, and the results are condensed into a document that is handed over and presented in detail to the customer during the second session.

Indicators analyzed

  • Consumption and distribution of macronutrients (carbohydrates, lipids, proteins)
  • Levels of micronutrients key to health: free sugar, saturated fatty acids, fiber
  • Basal metabolism and actual vs. desired energy expenditure (calories)

Duration

A minimum of 2 weeks elapses between the first meeting and the second assessment session.

Health nutrition follow up

Concept

Nutritional monitoring is based on the results of a nutritional assessment. Depending on the conclusions drawn from the nutritional analysis, measures are put in place to maintain or improve eating habits to target overall health & well-being.

Process

Following the steps described in the dietary assessment, and depending on the objectives discussed during the first session, an action plan lasting 1 to 3 months is drawn up, broken down into sub-objectives spread over periods of around 10 to 14 days.

Every 2 weeks, an update session is held to check on the progress made. At the end of the program, a full report comparing before-and-after results is provided.

Most frequent requests

  • Weight loss (body fat) and toning
  • Improved self-image
  • Improved intestinal transit
  • Transition to a specific diet (vegetarian, gluten-free, vegan, etc.)
  • Alleviation of gastrointestinal disorders

Duration

A minimum of 2 weeks elapses between the first meeting and the second assessment session.

Sports nutrition follow up

Concept

The aim of sports nutrition monitoring is to ensure that dietary intake is adapted to the sport in question, whether training or competition, in order to cover the body’s high energy requirements in these particular situations.

Process

Same as for health nutrition follow-up, with the following adjustments: the action plan, lasting 1 to 3 months, is drawn up according to the training/competition plan.

In addition, specific nutrition protocols based on the objectives discussed are provided and calculated according to the profile of the athlete being monitored. These protocols are structured around the 3 phases of training/competition (before – during – after).

Most frequent requests

  • Weight loss (fat mass) and toning
  • Muscle mass gain / hypertrophy
  • Nutrition during long endurance exercise
  • Nutrition for recovery after exercise
  • Eating disorders (hyperphagia, cravings, chronic hypoglycemia, etc.)

Duration

From 1 to 3 months. Possibility of renewing follow-up after the 3-month period.

Sports

Fitness assessment

Concept

A fitness assessment consists of evaluating the 6 components of a person’s physical condition. By analyzing these 6 parameters, we can determine a person’s level of fitness, as well as their strengths and weaknesses in terms of physical activity and general health.

Process

Initial contact is made by telephone to set out the testing procedures to be carried out during the first session. The tests are carried out at home or outdoors, to be agreed in advance between the client and the consultant, over one or 2 sessions, depending on the client’s profile. An experienced athlete wishing to assess his or her cardiovascular endurance via a maximal test will not be able to carry out the rest of the tests during the same session, for obvious reasons of fatigue.

Following the test session(s), the analysis is completed within 5 working days. The results are summarized in a document that is handed over and thoroughly presented to the client during the second session.

Performance & Health Metrics

  • Strength and core stability
  • Cardiovascular endurance
  • Muscular endurance of various muscle groups (arms, legs, abs, etc.)
  • Flexibility
  • Balance and agility
  • Health data such as body composition, resting heart rate, etc.

Duration

At least one week must pass between the initial test session and the second session, during which the results and the fitness assessment are presented.

Sports coaching

Concept

Sports follow-up is always based on an analysis of the results of a series of tests described in the sports assessment opposite. Depending on the conclusions drawn in the assessment, measures are decided upon to target one or more of the 6 components mentioned. The plan is based on the individual’s objectives, whether he or she is a sedentary person or an experienced athlete.

Process

Sports follow-up is always done in person. Each session is a private coaching workout. The program is fully personalized, and every session is planned in advance and tailored to the client’s profile and predefined goals.

Sessions are held either at the client’s home or outdoors, depending on their preferences. They typically last between 30 and 60 minutes and can be done with a maximum of two people. Sessions with more than two participants are considered group classes and do not fall under the scope of private sports coaching.

Most frequent requests

  • Fat loss and toning
  • Muscle gain / hypertrophy
  • Body composition optimization for competition
  • Relief from back pain and joint stiffness
  • Improved mobility and proprioception
  • Physical preparation for competition

Most popular training types

  • Explosive sessions (HIIT, plyometric exercises, etc.)
  • Resistance band training (TRX, Gymstick, Thera-Band, etc.)
  • Calisthenics
  • Balance board training
  • Outdoor interval training (hill sprints, bounding strides, etc.)
  • Deep muscle training through breathing techniques

Duration

From 1 to 3 months. Possibility of renewing follow-up after the 3-month period.
